How to change Windows Vista title bar color?

Okay I used to have my title bar a purple color. Whenever i opened Google Chrome or Windows media it would show that clear, see through purple. Lately my computer has been acting up but now that it is working again it reset some of its settings. I can't figure out how to change the title bar back to the way i used to have it. I've tried almost everything in the personalization appearances including Window color and appearance. Help anyone!?How to change Windows Vista title bar color?
you go to...

control panel

appearance and personalization

at the top it says ''personalization''

click customize colors

...and after that you can get it any color you want it to be! =) hope this helps. How to change Windows Vista title bar color?
in Window Color and Appearance:

1)check the box that says ';enable transparency'; so u can see thru

2)open the drop down ';show color mixer'; option and make sure they arent all set on the very side that - on the left - makes everything dark and - on the right - makes everything bright.

if transparency is enabled and the color mixer is set in the middle where the colors are, and you picked the color you want, and its STILL showing whatever color its showing (you shouldve added that detail), then....... damn baby!
