If you right click on the desktop and select personalize. it is under themes. Problem is, you will need to have some available to change to, or select classic which will give nothing in the area.

How to change window appearance on windows vista?
How do you change the picture/design on the left side of windows like in folders and whatnot? I can change everything but I can't figure this one out. (It's the blue aurora picture by default)How to change window appearance on windows vista?
