How do you change Windows Media player to Analog Mode?

I was trying to copy a CD onto WMP and the CD has special digital files and stuff to make the music easier to copy and stuff. (It doesn't help in the slightest) But when I tried to copy it a window came up that said WMP could not copy the digital files and that I should change WMP to analog mode.....WTF is analog mode and how do I change WMP to analog mode?How do you change Windows Media player to Analog Mode?
