How can i change windows movie maker project into another format on a windows vista?

i'm using a windows vista and whenever i save a video on windows movie maker it doesn't allow me to save it as anything else except .WMMV and i also tried to convert it through Movavi Video Converter but it just says ';file not found';

can anyone help me?How can i change windows movie maker project into another format on a windows vista?

First You Tube won't accept a saved windows movie maker project as you would save it like a word document.



Here's how to get your movie onto You Tube:



Step 1:

Open your file in Windows movie maker



Step 2:

Look to your left to find the subheading ';Finish Movie';



Step 3:

Click ';Save to my computer'; Under neath that subheading



Step 4: Follow the very simple save instructions, (save as high quality, which is best for You Tube.



Step 5: Sit back and wait To it saves, Just relax (I suggest a cup of coffee in the mean time)



Step 6:

Upload this NEW file to You Tube, Processing may take a while.



Then your done!
