How to change Windows 7 logical partition to bootable,and i have windows xp primary partit.that i wan'a delete?

I need to delete windows xp partition whit boot file is there any way to change Windows 7 logical partition to primary whit boot file.How to change Windows 7 logical partition to bootable,and i have windows xp primary partit.that i wan'a delete?
Well, since the XP partition is the primary partition on the drive, you would need to rebuild the boot record once you deleted the XP installation in order for windows 7 to still function.
