Any Help? How do I change Windows 7 back to Windows Vista?
In order to go back to Windows Vista, you must do a clean-install. There is no ';roll back'; option. It's a pain, I know. Just backup all your data to either an external hard drive, flash drive, or DVD-ROM and then make the clean install. How do I change Windows 7 back to Windows Vista?
Save your data, and do a clean install
or recovery of Vista.
Some bridges can't be ';un-crossed';..
(Why would you?) Win7 runs much better
and faster on the same hardware.
That would be a senseless downgrade in my opinion. Windows 7 is essentially the same operating system as Windows Vista with the exception it has major upgrades that make it better than Vista. That would, in my opinion, be a stupid downgrade.
As other poster indicated you have to do a clean install that means reformating the whole drive and reinstalling Windows Vista, if you liked Vista better it is your perfect right to go back to it. Some new features in Windows 7 may puzzle some users.
