How can I change Windows Mail from being the default?

Hi, I do not want to setup/use windows email as the default email program but it doesn't let me select anything else. My home computer simply opens an email in my yahoo or aol program (whatever is open) when I click the link. How can I set up this laptop to do that? I don't want to set up the POP and all that crap on windows email, plus I am not paying for a premium yahoo account to do soHow can I change Windows Mail from being the default?

Open up Internet Explorer (if you here, it should be already?), click TOOLS at top, then click INTERNET OPTIONS. Click on the PROGRAMS Tab, then go to the E-Mail section, click the down-arrow beside it, and select the mail service you want to use.
