when downloading some software i get an error signal saying i am running windows installer in safe modeHow to change windows installer from safe mode?
I've encountered this problem after my computer was affected with the Sality malware.



You could check first for any virus and malware lurking in your computer.

1. Update your antivirus and antispyware definition databases. Download and install an anti-spyware software, if you don't have one, such as Spybot-Search %26amp; Destroy http://www.spybot.com/en/download/index.

2. Disable your System Restore, clean up all Temporary and Recycle Bins. Use ATF-Cleaner from http://www.atribune.org , or use CCleaner from http://www.majorgeeks.com/CCleaner_Porta

3. Boot to Safe Mode, then run your anti-virus. Clean/Quarantine when necessary.

4. In Safe Mode, also scan for spyware, or malwares using Spybot-Search %26amp; Destroy

If this does not fix the problem, then you have to repair your Windows installation using the Windows Repair CD.
