Here are acouple of free convertors. Also assuming you made the .wav files by ripping CDs with WMP, you can change the settings in WMP to RIP to MP3 versus .wav. Just look through the menu system.Can any one advise how can I change Windows mediaplayer file (wave sound) to MP3 formate?

There are many softwares available for format conversion. Free sofwares are also available on Download.com. I personally use Total Converter, which is very good.
